You would carry out an administrative role for our Refugee Support Team who provide caring, safe, and empowering support to distressed people in vulnerable situations.
A day in the life of a Senior Support Assistant:
* You will provide administrative and operational support functions to the Refugee Support team in accordance with the needs of the team and corporate requirements.
* You will produce reports and updates on projects as required.
* You will analyse information and make appropriate decisions about action required.
* You will deal with external enquiries in an efficient manner.
To be a successful Senior Support Assistant:
* Do you have experience of working in an administrative role?
* Do you have experience of working with vulnerable people and an understanding of issues relating to asylum seekers, refugees, and other vulnerable migrants?
* Do you have the ability to remain neutral and respect clients' confidentiality?
* Do you have excellent organisational skills, able to plan and manage workloads efficiently?
* Are you IT literate, particularly with Microsoft Office packages?
* Do you have excellent verbal and written communication skills?
