Description:
The FM Manager is responsible for providing management and leadership, ensuring all policies and processes are followed according to G4S policies and procedures, and supporting the Contract Manager (CM). The role involves coordinating Health & Safety processes across the contract and encompasses office management focused on both Hard and Soft services. Emphasis is placed on health, safety, and environmental considerations, promoting G4S values, and effective communication.
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities
HR
* Administer recruitment and selection processes, including ATR completion and agency liaison where applicable.
* Arrange interviews and liaise with applicants.
* Provide confirmation letters of interview outcomes.
* Conduct inductions.
* Issue contracts after the probationary period.
* Provide new starter details to Finance/Admin/HR Shared Services to ensure contracts are issued.
* Manage DBS & Vetting processes, including periodic renewals.
* Remind management of periodic reviews during probation.
* Maintain training matrix, source training, and organize Employee Development Reviews (EDR).
Health & Safety
* Assist the CM in providing statistical information related to Health & Safety and accident reports.
* Ensure site compliance and that trackers are up-to-date.
* Carry out Health and Safety responsibilities as per G4S corporate Part B responsibilities, complying with HASWA 1974.
* Ensure the site meets statutory requirements.
* Ensure all Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are met.
General
* Prepare unavailability and performance shortfalls for Payment Mechanism verification.
* Operate within and maintain the standards of service and security required at the contract.
* Maintain efficient support services to the CM, Hard Services Manager, and operational teams, completing administrative tasks to deadlines and standards.
* Participate in client liaison and management meetings.
* Attend daily operational meetings.
* Perform any other reasonable duties as requested by management.
