Service Desk Administrator – Full Time
Our IS Department play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the company's IT infrastructure and overall operational efficiency. The team currently have an exciting opportunity for a Service Desk Administrator to join the team on a full-time permanent basis. The Administrator will play a crucial role in delivering excellent colleague support by leveraging strong administrative skills and a customer-centric approach.
Reporting directly into the EMEA Service Desk Team Leader, this will be a busy and varied role, and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
* Answering calls from users across EMEA and some parts of the Asian Pacific region.
* Processing calls in our call logging software and assigning to the relevant group
* Providing immediate assistance to users where appropriate e.g. password resets
* Identifying urgent calls and flagging these to other members of the Service Desk team.
* With training, investigate and action first tier calls such as exception reports from our LS400 software
About you:
To succeed in this role, you will be a strong communicator with the ability to liaise in both written and verbal forms with various colleagues and clients. You will have a good knowledge of IT with experience and understanding of Microsoft office. You should be comfortable working on your own initiative as well as part of a busy team. Previous experience in an administrative or service desk role is desirable but not essential.
