Job Description
3. Prepare, process, and issue invoices to clients and patients in a timely manner.
4. Monitor and reconcile accounts to ensure accurate billing records.
5. Address and resolve billing discrepancies and queries efficiently.
6. Collaborate with internal teams to verify billing details and documentation.
7. Maintain accurate financial records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
8. Assist in preparing reports related to billing and revenue for management review.
9. Manage billing for insurance companies, including claims submission and follow-ups
10. Process any billing extras such as refunds and prosthesis billing accurately and efficiently.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Billing Specialist should have:
11. A strong foundation in accounting and finance, particularly within the healthcare sector.
12. Excellent organisational and time-management skills to meet deadlines.
13. Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all financial transactions.
14. Strong communication skills to liaise with both internal teams and external clients
15. May be working towards your accountancy degree
