What you’ll be doing
* Supporting children with Autism with daily classroom tasks. Provide support with communication, routines and engagement
* Using visuals, sensory strategies and structured approaches that help pupils access learning
* Offering reassurance during transitions or emotionally tricky moments
* Working closely with teachers and therapists to provide stable, consistent support
* Encouraging independence, confidence and positive social interactions
* Celebrating progress in ways that feel meaningful to each pupil
Who we’re looking for
* Experience with Autism is a bonus, but not essential
* Someone calm, observant and able to adapt to individual needs
* A patient communicator who builds trust through warmth and consistency
* A team player who enjoys learning new strategies and approaches
* A genuine interest in SEND and supporting pupils who learn differently

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
