At Targeted Provision, we are on a mission to enhance the educational experiences of children facing challenges such as Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), and Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD).

Your Role as an SEN/SEND Tutor:
* Provide engaging tuition in Maths, English, or Science to young people with various educational needs.
* Support students referred by local authorities and schools in their educational and social-emotional journeys.
* Deliver flexible, holistic, and trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver tailored teaching sessions that meet the unique needs of each student.
* Create engaging and holistic learning experiences to enhance educational and social-emotional development.
* Complete lesson reports and provide constructive feedback on student progress.
What We’re Looking For:
* Professional Teaching Qualifications (Qualified Teacher Status / QTS / QTLS).
* A minimum of 2 years teaching experience.
* Experience working with young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or other Additional Educational Needs.
* Knowledge of safeguarding processes.
* Enhanced DBS (we can assist with obtaining this at cost).
* Two professional references.
* Must be based in the UK with the right to work, even for remote assignments.
It is essential that you promote the health, safety, and wellbeing of children and young people while adhering to safeguarding policies at all times.
Employment Status:
* This position involves engaging with us as a Worker for short-term assignments as they arise.
* You will work under a contract for service and be paid via PAYE.
* No guaranteed work or expense coverage is provided.
* Our insurance covers the work you do for us.
* This is not a self-employed tutoring position.
