Start Date: ASAP/September
Contract: Full-Time, Temporary
Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)
The Role
The successful candidate will:
* Teach Design Technology across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
* Deliver engaging and practical lessons that develop creativity, design thinking, and technical skills
* Support students in areas such as Resistant Materials, Product Design, Graphics, or related DT specialisms
* Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment activities
* Promote high standards of achievement and behaviour throughout the school
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Degree in Design Technology or a related subject
* Experience teaching DT at secondary level
* Strong classroom management and communication skills
* Commitment to student progress and wellbeing
* Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative department team
