As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will be based out of their Southern Surrey division, playing a pivotal role in supporting two Senior Quantity Surveyors across the region's five live projects. Key Responsibilities: - Assist Senior Quantity Surveyors in managing and coordinating all aspects of quantity surveying duties. - Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports for ongoing projects. - Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with contractual obligations. - Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure effective communication and project delivery. - Support in the preparation and negotiation of tenders and contracts. Skills and Experience Required: - A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field. - Previous experience in a similar role or a strong placement year within the construction industry. - Proficiency in using industry-standard software and tools. - Excellent numerical and analytical skills. - Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. - A proactive and detail-oriented approach to work.
