Job Description
3. Develop and execute a strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base.
4. Identify and establish new business opportunities within the retail sector.
5. Develop strategic relationships with key retail partners - national and multi-site high street retailers e.g. Smyths, The Entertainer and also National Garden Centres/Buying Groups, Gift Stores, Book Stores, Craft Stores etc..
6. Analyse market trends to identify growth opportunities.
7. Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to prospective clients.
8. Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favourable terms for the business.
9. Attend trade shows, events, and face-to-face buyer meetings
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate should have:
10. A proven track record of winning new business/onboarding national and multi-site retail accounts
11. Sales/Account Management/Business development experience within FMCG - open on product category, but you will need relevant customer experience
12. Comfortable leading conversations with head office buyers
13. Proactive approach to sales and prospecting
14. Driven and tenacious

15. Salary ranging from £50,000 to £60,000 per annum.
