The Role
We are seeking a results focused, resilient and positive Business Development Manager to lead and expand aftermarket sales across multiple specialist sectors. You will play a key role in developing long-term B2B partnerships, driving growth from existing accounts, and securing new opportunities in the aftermarket and distribution channels.
Responsibilities:
1. Drive sales and margin growth in line with company targets and strategy.
2. Manage and grow existing customer accounts while identifying and winning new business.
3. Develop and maintain a robust new business pipeline.
4. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and commercial terms.
5. Build strong relationships with distributors, dealerships, and key accounts.
6. Represent the business at trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events.
Requirements:
7. Degree educated, ideally in Mechanical Engineering.
8. Proven track record in business development, account management, or sales within the automotive or related aftermarket sectors.
9. Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
10. Excellent communicator with the ability to build lasting relationships at all levels.
11. Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working independently.
12. Full UK driving licence with willingness to travel.
