Your Mission
As a Teacher of English, you’ll deliver engaging and thought-provoking lessons that develop students’ literacy, analytical skills, and confidence in communication. You’ll foster a love for storytelling, empower students to express themselves, and prepare them for academic and personal success.
What You’ll Do as Teacher of English
* Deliver inspiring English lessons across Key Stages.
* Encourage a love of reading, writing, and discussion.
* Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners.
* Assess and track student progress, offering constructive feedback.
* Contribute to a collaborative and forward-thinking English department.
* Support extracurricular activities such as book clubs, writing competitions, or drama productions.
* Uphold high standards of safeguarding and student welfare.
What You Bring as Teacher of English
* Experience teaching English, ideally in a secondary school setting.
* A passion for literature, language, and student development.
* Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
* A commitment to inclusivity, creativity, and academic excellence.
* Teaching Assistants and Cover Supervisors with relevant experience are also encouraged to apply.

* Have the right to work in the UK.
* Provide an up-to-date CV with two references from the last two years.
* Hold an enhanced DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education.
