Job summary
We are looking for motivated and dynamic Occupational Therapists to join our unique rotation programme. You will gain exposure to a full spectrum of different health care conditions and will have opportunities to work with highly specialist clinicians in a broad range of different clinical specialities within the New Forest and surrounding areas.

We have excellent working relationships with HIOW Integrated Care Board and the local authority Hampshire County Council.
This post would be suitable for either a newly qualified or experienced band 5 looking to build a strong foundation in a range of different core and specialist settings. Flexible working options can be considered.
Main duties, tasks & skills required
Rotate through 5 different clinical areas with opportunities to utilise transferable skills and learn about a wide variety of conditions in each rotation giving a fantastic range of experience to progress to more senior or specialised positions.
* Inpatient stroke rehabilitation and community stroke team based at Lymington New Forest Hospital. The stroke service uniquely covers three areas, Inpatient Stroke Rehabilitation, the Community Stroke Team and the Stroke Review Service.
* Medical inpatients at Lymington New Forest Hospital covering the Medical Assessment Unit (MAU), acute medical wards and medical rehabilitation ward. A varied caseload. Working as part of MDT, providing rehab and discharge planning.
* Community Occupational Therapy within the Lymington and New Milton Integrated Care Team. Working holistically with patients in their own homes aiming to optimise independence, quality of life and ability to access the community.
* Rehabilitation of the older person at Romsey Rehabilitation Unit. Working with older persons who have transferred from one of our acute providers for period of rehabilitation of their physical and functional abilities.
* A new rotation within Children's therapies - Community Paediatrics. You will have a caseload within a robust MDT of OTs, Physios and SLTS. Based in Southampton & SW Hants and covering Clinics, Early years and School Settings.

* Degree in Occupational Therapy leading to inclusion on HCPC Occupational Therapist register
* Current driving licence and use of car for work
