Job Responsibilities:
1. Conduct quality sampling, analysis & reporting for raw materials, work in progress, finished products, and environmental samples.
2. Maintain data systems accurately and timely to ensure compliance with traceability standards and KPIs.
3. Support sensory activities: taste panels, sample preparation, collection, submission, and result processing.
4. Adhere to GMP, GLP, and MCS standards.
5. Ensure compliance with company, third-party, and customer standards through proficiency schemes, training, and assessments.
6. Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment.
7. Assist with complaint investigations, data analysis, and information provision.
8. Participate in root cause analysis, representing QA/Sensory and providing expertise.
9. Conduct internal audits on quality systems, food safety, glass, and health & safety.
Candidate Profile:
* Experience in manufacturing QA/Sensory environments.
* Practical knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices.
* Education to HNC or equivalent in a science field (preferably chemistry or biochemistry).
* Fluency and confidence in Outlook, MS Teams, SharePoint, and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Ability to work independently and in a team.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to liaise with various levels within the organization and external contacts.
* Knowledge of SAP is advantageous.
* Ability to interpret analytical and microbiological data.
