What You’ll Be Doing
1. Support the Head of Pricing in developing and recalibrating pricing algorithms across all classes, ensuring continuous feedback and improvements.
2. Communicate key insights and recommendations from pricing algorithm reviews to stakeholders, including underwriters and actuarial SMEs.
3. Ensure thorough reviews, challenges, and documentation of all analytical work.
4. Collaborate with other pricing actuaries and analysts, working with various group functions to deploy models efficiently into different pricing software platforms. Investigate new ways to add value to pricing analyses and support implementation efforts.
5. Assist the Actuarial Analytical Engineering team in developing tools to enhance the value and efficiency of the pricing model review process.
6. Support the Head of Pricing in ad hoc projects and contribute to bi-weekly actuarial pricing meetings.
7. Develop a strong understanding of each line of business within the relevant units to ensure your expertise adds value across the board.
