The Package:
1. Salary to £38,898 + 10% Bonus (~ £3,889) + ~£3k on call allowance (1 week in 4) - Please note, there are more salary increments within the band to £44,732 once the right person is in situ.

3. Shifts are Mon - Fri with the following options available = 07:00 - 15:30 Mon - Thurs & 07:00 to 13:00 Friday OR 07:30 - 16:00 Mon - Thurs & 07:30 to 13:00 Friday
What will I be doing?
4. We’ll look to you to provide planned and reactive maintenance for all mechanical areas of our STV 4&5 Energy Recovery Plant.
5. That means you’ll be tackling everything from fitting and fabrication, to welding, cutting and burning.
6. At the same time, you’ll be a valued member of the team, supporting colleagues across different functions.
Please note that this role forms part of a 24-hour call-out rota (1 week in 4), covering plant breakdowns outside normal working hours.
What are the requirements?
7. To join us in this key role, you’ll need an Engineering background, ideally time served Apprenticeship (or equivalent experience) and previous mechanical maintenance engineering experience, gained in a process plant / engineering or heavy engineering environment or any similar industry considered.
8. Any steam raising or boiler experience would be highly beneficial.
9. With a basic knowledge of electrical systems plus welding experience, you’ll be equipped to excel in this important technical role.
