Overview
Annual Salary: $60,000.00-$65,000.00
New Hire Bonus: $5,000 (paid quarterly over 18 months)
The Program Director will oversee the operations and management of a state-contracted service, ensuring the program meets clinical, programmatic, staff, and fiscal objectives in accordance with contract specifications.
Responsibilities
1. Ensure all elements of the contract are achieved or exceeded, collaborating with the Senior Director to evaluate and adjust program implementation to meet goals.
2. Maintain required staffing levels, uphold diversity and inclusion standards, and oversee personnel management including hiring, training, supervision, evaluation, and support of staff and interns.
3. Engage in strategic thinking by attending to statewide trends and initiatives, participating in coalitions related to the service area.
4. Oversee daily operations to ensure fiscal accountability, high-quality care, and compliance with standards, including training and quality assurance.
5. Collaborate with community partners to enhance services, foster communication, and serve consumer needs.
6. Develop and monitor program budgets in conjunction with the Senior Director for Support and Resources.
7. Monitor and report issues of risk or concern to senior leadership.
8. Maintain professionalism, ethical practice, and compassionate regard for consumers, demonstrating competency, reliability, and effective communication.
9. Model client-centered care that promotes inclusion, diversity, trauma-informed practices, and safety.
Additional Responsibilities
* Serve on committees, represent the agency at community events, and collaborate across departments.
* Provide occasional training and direct services as needed.
* Attend to on-call or after-hours duties.
Qualifications
* Strong knowledge of child/youth and family clinical care, mental health, educational, developmental, child welfare, and juvenile justice systems.
* Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and personal transportation required.
* Discretion, confidentiality, collaboration, and judgment skills.
* Innovative, analytical, and effective problem-solving abilities.
* Knowledge of program specifications, regulations, licensing, HIPAA, and related laws.
* Ability to supervise staff and ensure service delivery meets contract standards.
* Ability to perform sedentary tasks, including driving and electronic work, with or without accommodations.
