CNC Machinist - Programmer Setter Operator | Saltburn-by-the Sea, East Cleveland | Full-time | £20.41/hr (over two-week shift pattern) - Including night shift rate and shift allowance | Overtime £25.05/hr

This role will suit an experienced Machinist looking for secure, good quality employment with good conditions. You will be eager to continue learning, to expand your experience and knowledge, and gain more skills. With our competency framework, machinists with a growth mindset can plan their development with a supportive management team.
You will work a 2 week shift patter with compressed hours
4 x 10 hour day shifts – Monday to Thursday 7am to 5:30pm
4 x 10 hour night shifts – Monday to Wednesday 7pm to 5am and Thursday 5:30pm to 3:30am

The following skills and qualifications are essential for this role
Time-served (Machine Shop apprenticeship)
Experience with vertical borers or horizontal borers – can be manual
Able to set one-off jobs
Experience with components 1m and over
Measurement skills with manual equipment (dimensions and surface finish)
Able to read engineering drawings
What will your role look like?
To set, program, and operate large CNC vertical or horizontal borers to machine a range of castings, forgings, profiles, and fabrications, in various metals
Working with the production support team, including planning engineer, machine shop supervisors, team leaders, quality management, and CNC manufacturing engineer, to work on interesting and challenging projects and meet our customers’ high standards
