The Role
We’re looking for an experienced Head Baker to lead baking standards and product quality at site.
You’ll be the go-to expert for all things baking, ensuring products are made to the highest standard, supporting the production team, and improving processes to reduce waste and improve consistency.
This is a hands-on role working closely with Production, Technical and Engineering teams.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
* Owning baking standards and product quality on site
* Supporting and improving bakery processes from dough to finished product
* Coaching and training teams to improve baking knowledge and capability
* Driving consistency, reducing waste and improving efficiency
* Supporting new product launches and process changes
* Working with site teams to resolve quality issues and improve performance
What We’re Looking For
* Strong bakery manufacturing experience (plant or craft)
* Good understanding of ingredients, processes and product quality
* Experience training or coaching others
* Practical problem-solver with a hands-on approach
* Confident working with production and technical teams
