Executive Assistant to Group HR Director (with HR Support)

An outstanding opportunity has opened for an experienced Executive Assistant to join a highly respected international organisation, providing first‑class support to the Group HR Director while contributing to key HR activities.
This is a hybrid position based in Solihull, offering a blend of strategic EA support (60%) and hands‑on HR administration (40%). It’s an ideal role for an accomplished PA who enjoys operating at board level within a global business, but still values a collaborative, close‑knit culture.
The Role
As Executive Assistant to the Group HR Director, you’ll be a trusted partner managing complex executive support needs, coordinating high‑profile forums and meetings, and gaining meaningful exposure to strategic HR projects. This is a role with real influence, visibility and variety.
Key Responsibilities
* Expert diary management across global time zones, with proactive conflict resolution
* Complex international travel planning: flights, accommodation, visas and full itineraries
* Hosting senior stakeholders and managing high‑profile visitor arrangements
* Liaison with Board members, NEDs and external partners
* Full ownership of quarterly Senior HR Forums from venue sourcing to delegate management and on‑the‑day delivery
* Organisation of Colleague Forum meetings, including agendas and minutes
* Coordination of Board‑level meetings with all IT/AV requirements
* Management of NED engagement activities
* Production of high‑quality board reports and executive presentations
* Expense management and credit‑card reconciliation, including sustainability reporting
HR Administration & Support
* Providing cover for the CEO and CFO PAs when required
* Supporting employee lifecycle processes and HR system administration
* Contributing to HR projects and employee relations administration
* Supporting recruitment and benefits administration
* Managing the HR inbox and resolving first‑line queries
Required Qualifications
* Proven PA experience at Board or Executive level
* Exceptional Microsoft Office capability, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
* Excellent written communication, able to produce polished correspondence and documentation
* Experience organising large‑scale events or meetings
* Exposure to international travel arrangements
* Previous HR experience is desirable but not essential
