Launch Manager (Greater London) Join us in our mission to transform the way people shop and eat, where impact, innovation, and growth drive everything we do. Our Commercial team sits at the heart of Deliveroo’s marketplace—shaping how we serve restaurants, grocers, and new verticals worldwide. United Kingdom & Ireland (UK&I) is our largest business and is at the forefront of strategic, commercial, and operational innovation. Regional UKI presents one of our biggest growth opportunities, and we are looking for a high-impact leader to help us fulfill our potential in the capital. We’re looking for a Launch Manager to join our Greater London team. Reporting to the Programme Lead, you will have direct ownership of results within your zones, leading a team of Market Activators to deliver challenging selection goals and improve our proposition across all segments. What You’ll Be Doing You will act as the business owner for your assigned clusters, balancing people leadership with strategic market analysis to ensure Deliveroo remains the definitive food partner in London. Sales Leadership & Coaching: Manage and develop a high-performance team of up to 7 Market Activators. You will spend 3–4 days a week in the field, role-modeling excellence and providing the coaching and structure needed to hit ambitious monthly targets. CVP Ownership: Be the expert on your clusters. Identify the "local gems" and high-priority partners critical to our Consumer Value Proposition (CVP). Map out cuisine gaps and competitor strengths to build precise, detailed growth plans. Strategic Execution: Lead and participate in tactical initiatives, such as the Javelin project, which may include in-person marketing activations and targeted sprints on metrics like signage, menu completeness, and rejection rates. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Regional Managers and SMB leads to align on cluster priorities. You will influence Account Managers to drive operational improvements for partners within your zones. Data-Driven Management: Use Salesforce to diagnose performance issues, ensure data quality, and keep senior stakeholders informed of progress within your region. What You’ll Need to Thrive Our ideal candidate is a "bias-for-action" leader who thrives in the fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environment of a growing marketplace: Commercial Experience: 4 years of experience in sales or commercial roles, with a proven track record of delivering outstanding results in a target-driven environment. Inspiring Leadership: Demonstrable skills in leading direct reports or coaching and mentoring teams. You are comfortable motivating a team in a field-based setting 4 days a week. Strategic Sharpness: A clear communicator capable of managing a complex stakeholder matrix (including Regional Directors and Central Strategy teams). Analytical Proficiency: Ideally experienced in Salesforce, with the ability to use data to identify gaps and influence teams to follow rigorous processes. Entrepreneurial Spirit: A self-starter who is well-organized and enjoys a mixture of autonomous work and deep-dive team collaboration. Why Join Us? At Deliveroo, you’ll solve complex real-time challenges in an industry that is redefining convenience. Working here you can expect to: Drive Growth in a Key Market: Own the expansion and selection strategy for the most vibrant food scene in the world. Entrepreneurial Autonomy: Move fast and take ownership of your zones as if they were your own business. Lead at the Forefront: Be part of the team driving innovation in our most mature and strategic global market.
