Location-Wrexham
Salary- £49,000 – £52,000 + Benefits
Shifts- 3 Shift Pattern (Monday–Friday)
25 Days Holiday + 8 Bank Holidays
The Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for a skilled Mechanical or Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established and highly invested manufacturing site in Wrexham. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a modern, automated environment with significant ongoing investment in machinery, technology, and site improvements.
You'll be working with advanced manufacturing systems including robotics, automated production lines, and end-of-line packaging machinery. The business prides itself on maintaining high engineering standards and offers long-term stability with opportunities to develop your technical skills.
The Role
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring production equipment runs efficiently and reliably.
Key responsibilities include:
* Planned and reactive maintenance on automated manufacturing equipment
* Fault finding on mechanical and/or electrical systems
* Working on robotics, automated machinery, and end-of-line packaging equipment
* Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the site
* Ensuring minimal downtime and maintaining production efficiency
* Working collaboratively with production and engineering teams
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you should have:
* NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline
* A strong track record within a manufacturing or automated production environment
* Experience with automated machinery, robotics, or packaging equipment (desirable)
* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities
* A proactive, hard-working attitude and good reliability
