New Contract Alert – Data Analysts (x3) – Local Gov Transformation
I’m supporting a major transformation programme with a local government in Thames Valley that’s hiring three experienced Data Analysts to drive insight-led service redesign and financial modelling across the organisation.
This is an initial 6-month contract (Inside IR35) with a strong possibility of extension, working 2-3 days a week onsite. You’ll be joining a newly formed Transformation Team focused on delivering a smarter, more cost-effective operating model through systems thinking and data-driven decision-making.
MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE:
* Working in a local government or public sector analytics role
* Handling financial data – including cost-to-serve and flow accounting models
* Turning complex data into clear insights and dashboards (Power BI/Tableau/Excel)
* Using SQL, R or Python for data querying and analysis
* Presenting findings to both technical and non-technical audiences
* Knowledge of data governance, security policies, and best practices
ESSENTIAL:
* Collaborative and confident working in cross-functional teams
* Skilled at juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
* Clear communicator with a proactive, solution-focused approach
* Passionate about using data to enable smarter, resident-focused public services
* Keen to coach and upskill others in data literacy and tools
Location: Hybrid – 2-3 days/week onsite (Thames Valley)
Contract: Initial 6 months – likely to extend
IR35 Status: Inside IR35
