Role: Set and maintain all folding equipment, assist the Shift Supervisor, and supervise operators to ensure productivity, efficiency, and quality. Primary Duties: - Expected to \u2018set\u2019 and \u2018run\u2019 a machine as required, with the purpose of maximising shift output - Ability to set and run all folding machines and all formats of leaflets - Demonstrate both people and shift management - Work to the agreed Quality levels and achieve the department quality targets - Take the lead as a machine champion - Understand SFDC, the Job Bag / MBR and PSA, including the live plan and resources - 2nd \u2018port of call\u2019 for all machine related issues arising during shift. When required, offer practical advice (troubleshoot) on machine and other finishing related matters - Deputise for the Finishing Supervisor during periods of planned / unplanned absence where required Skills, knowledge and qualifications required: - Minimum GCSE in Mathematics and English Language or equivalent. - 2-3 years of setting experience. - PC literate. - Minimum 3 years in a manufacturing environment. - People management and communication skills. - Awareness of SHE and employment legislation. - Knowledge of cGMP, 5s & SMED. - Problem-solving skills.
