The sales team are the spearhead of our company, the combination of their enthusiasm, knowledge and skills ensure the continued success of the company. We need an experienced Sales Account Manager to meet the increasing demand of our growing company. The selected individual will be self-motivated, adaptable and a team player. The role will be sales based, involving customer service, sales and administration, with the opportunity to branch out other areas of the business.
Taking orders and answering product related queries, you'll provide a first-class service to customers over the phone, gaining a good understanding of the customer's requirements by asking the right questions about what they need and providing them with the right solution and products for the job.
This role is suited for someone who has a specific area of expertise within the building and landscaping sector. At Country Supplies we sell a range of different materials from porcelain and natural stone to agricultural fencing and much more, the one stop shop for any landscaping contractor or enthusiastic DIY'ers.
Duties to include:
· Dealing with high volumes of incoming calls
· Building rapport with regular customers
· Delivering excellent customer service that exceeds all customer's expectations
· Dealing with customers' orders and queries in a confident, efficient and professional manner
· Reporting any Health & Safety issues to your Line Manager
· Taking on reasonable ad-hoc duties, ensuring the smooth running of the company
· Keeping a customer friendly working environment
Requirements
· Act as a primary point of contact for assigned accounts, fostering long-term relationships. This involves regular contact with these clients to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns, ensuring year-on-year repeat business values are increased.
· Plan project requirements in line with the customers time frame, communicating with the relevant purchasing departments.
· Being an active team player, contributing ideas to maximise sales potential for the business.
· Develop strategies to meet and exceed sales targets by identifying new business opportunities, whether this is with new clients or a product line we might be missing in our range.
· Maintain in-depth knowledge on materials, and best practise of how to use the materials we offer, and being able to encourage and educate our customers on this.
· Stay updated on trends, expanding your market knowledge and having a true interest and passion for the landscaping industry.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and being able to adapt to the needs of the company and clients.
· Attend industry events and trade shows.
· Quickly build trust with new customers, learning where we can develop them as accounts and further opportunities to offer our products to them.
· Ensuring all client interactions and transactions comply with company policies and regulations.
· Excellent verbal communication skills to work with transport.
Details of working:
· 7.30am-5pm Monday to Friday
· 8am- 12.30pm every other Saturday
· 20 days holiday a year plus bank holidays increasing to 25 days after 5 years service
