Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a HR/People Experience Advisor to join our team in our Chirk Plant and support our Manufacturing function in both Chirk and Marlbrook. The successful candidate will have the great opportunity to partner and interact with colleagues and people managers in our fantastic Chirk and Marlbrook factories, with site transformation at Chirk, it’s a really exciting time to join our team! You will also partner closely with HR/People Team and managers in activating and implementing the People agenda.
Main Responsibilities:
1. As a key member of the People Team, you will act as a champion for our people processes
2. You will use data and insights to drive continuous improvement
3. You will support various People activities including onboarding/induction
4. Coach our people in using our new technology and HR systems
5. Build relationships with colleagues at all levels to aid the understanding of our self-service processes
6. Drive business initiatives such as our learning activation called “Growing Here Week” and our Engagement Survey
7. Responsible for leading recruitment campaigns, salary updates and support DE&I plans locally
8. You will support People and Culture projects
9. Responsible for HR administration and HR system transactions
10. Responsible for absence management
11. Support on Employee Relations topics including investigation & disciplinary meetings
12. You will be a point of contact for HR questions from employees and managers and will promote and support employee and managers in our Self-Service model. This will involve coaching employees and managers to complete transactions in Workday.
Candidate Requirements
13. Excellent Communication skills
14. Employee Relations experience
15. Experience in HR Manufacturing Roles
16. Proactivity and curiosity
17. A drive to challenge status quo and ways of working
18. A team player who thrives when working together with colleagues to identify opportunities and to continuously improve
19. Located in Chirk, UK with the requirement to travel to Marlbrook
Travel requirements: you will be expected to travel once or twice a month to Marlbrook.
