HGV Class 2 Driver – Crawley (RH10 9AN)

Winner Recruitment are hiring HGV Class 2 Drivers for our client in Crawley.

We're looking for experienced or aspiring Class 2 drivers who want stability, great equipment, and opportunities to grow.
Pay & Benefits
1. £16.51/hour
2. Overtime after 10 hours on weekdays at 1.25x
3. Saturday overtime at 1.50x
Modern (<3 years) eco-friendly fleet
4. Electric pallet trucks in all vehicles
5. FORS-accredited training provided in-house
6. Ongoing training to keep you compliant or help you progress to the next level
Responsibilities
* Deliver palletised freight across the South East and general haulage
* Build and maintain positive customer relationships
* Ensure compliance with driving hours and working time directives
* Present a professional image at all times
* Complete accurate paperwork and distribute correctly
* Perform daily vehicle checks and maintain safety standards
* Safely load and unload goods, securing loads properly
* Support and lead other drivers when needed
* Adhere to company health & safety policies
* Be flexible to work extra hours during peak periods
Working Hours
* Monday to Friday with rostered Saturdays (1 in every 6–8 weeks)
* Varied start times and routes each week
* Requirements:
* Valid Class 2 licence
* Digital tachograph card
* CPC qualification card
* Knowledge of Road Transport Directive and drivers' hours
* Team player with good communication skills
