Leading travel industry | Corporation tax manager | Hybrid contract role.
Your new companyThis client is a leading player in the travel industry with the corporate headquarters in London. This role sits within the tax team providing services to the whole organisation.Your new roleThis is a tax role within a global organisation providing tax services across the group, supporting key business units and leveraging expertise to ensure compliance, effective risk management, and identification of tax opportunities. You will be working in collaboration with group tax, finance teams, auditors, and external advisors.Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare corporation tax computations and support the end-to-end compliance cycle
* Deliver IFRS tax reporting, including statutory accounts, interim reporting, and tax notes
* Support audit processes and provide analysis to internal and external auditors
* Produce cash tax and forecasting models
* Assist with tax advice on commercial transactions and restructuring activities
* Promote tax policy adherence and respond to ad hoc queries
* Collaborate with group tax teams, UK finance functions, and external advisors to ensure accurate and consistent tax outcomes.
What you'll need to succeed
* ACA / CTA with a minimum of 5 years’ experience with in-house tax or large corporate tax
* Experience with Alpha tax preferred
* Strong analytical and reasoning skills
* Ability to manage tax projects autonomously with stress reliance and accuracy
* Help to build or enhance tax and business networks to make work more effective
* Proactive approach in order to acquire knowledge and awareness of the business to provide commercially focused tax support
