Job Title:Site Civil Supervisor
Location:Hornsea 3, Norwich (100% onsite. No home office)
Duration:6 months contract
Working hours: 10 hours a day / 50 hours a week
Job Description
* Looking for experienced construction professional (Supervisor level)
* Must have heavy construction experience
* Preferred background: Reinforced concrete, Steel structures / industrial construction, Large-scale infrastructure projects
* Site-based supervisory role (not managerial, but leadership needed)
* Candidate will act as eyes and ears on site
* Strong focus on: Health & Safety (critical), Construction coordination, QA/QC inspections (hands-on involvement required)
* Certifications Required: CSCS Card Mandatory, SMSTS Preferred (bonus), Standard site certifications sufficient
* Coordinate the daily construction activities at the project site with the objective of ensuring all activities comply with project quality plan, specifications and site program.
* Managing projects / processes, working independently with limited supervision. Coaching and reviewing the work of lower level professionals.
* Candidates must have a history of heavy civils not domestic building history
* Responsible for managing and coordinating all Builders Work elements with Subcontractors, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, QA requirements, and Health & Safety obligations.
