Job Details
Location: Our Newbury Office (hybrid role: 3 days in the office, 2 days remote), with daily customer/vendor visits either F2F or virtual.
Salary: Up to £40k per annum + up to £20k OTE + £5,400 pa car allowance.

The Role
The Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for driving growth within Nuvias UC’s divisions by developing relationships with partners and vendors. This includes partner recruitment, development, engagement, and serving as the vendor’s commercial expert. The BDM will collaborate with Sales Account Managers, Pre-Sales, marketing, and vendor teams to align and execute strategies.
Key Responsibilities
1. Partner Recruitment & Engagement: Identify potential partners using the partner development list, develop recruitment strategies, onboard partners, and communicate benefits.
2. Partner Development & Enablement: Collaborate with SAMs to expand existing partners, create development plans via Pathfinder+, and coordinate with marketing and Pre-Sales for enablement activities.
3. Vendor Relationship Management: Act as the primary commercial contact for vendors, maintaining strong relationships and representing Nuvias UC in vendor interactions.
4. Account Management: Manage accounts aligned with our technology focus, develop growth strategies, and build strong stakeholder relationships.
5. Operational & Bid Support: Support sales operations, assist with bid processes, and provide commercial insights to improve win rates.
6. Partner/Vendor Collaboration: Facilitate communication and joint activities between partners and vendors, organize meetings and events.
7. Market & Strategic Insights: Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and identify new growth opportunities.
Qualifications & Skills
* Proven experience in business development, partner management, or similar roles, preferably in Converged Communications.
* Proficiency in CRM tools, Pathfinder+, and Microsoft Office.
* Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and project management skills.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and training abilities.

* Quality of vendor relationships and bid success rate.
