Summary The Administrative Coordinator for Hospital Medicine supports department leadership and other internal and external groups as assigned, as well as assists with the day-to-day operations of the Hospital Medicine Program. The coordinator serves as the primary liaison between the internal care team and external care team members, including primary care offices, long-term care facilities, and other community care organizations. The coordinator ensures that patient assignments to teams are in alignment with the primary care provider; additionally, this position provides the primary care offices with the necessary information to assume care of the patient following discharge from the acute care setting. Minimum Education Associates Degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum Work Experience 3 years medical office or physician program experience. Clinical documentation experience preferred. Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Strong organizational skills. Knowledge of healthcare program management. Pay Range: $18.35 - $27.23
