We’re looking for someone who understands how important democracy and campaigning is to the work of students’ unions and the impact that it can have on students’ university experience and the world around them. Maybe you’re someone passionate about social issues that impact our most marginalised communities; perhaps you’re interested in ensuring that democracy works for all and making sure everyone gets a voice; or maybe you love to see people empowered and able to change the things that are impacting them. Our Liberation and Campaigns Manager, and their team, will enable and empower students to influence their students’ union, their university and their communities in Bristol and beyond. Our Liberation and Campaigns Manager will be responsible for managing a key strategic area of our work, supported by our Head of Representation and Student Leadership. The person in this role will bring creativity to ensure Bristol SU's approach to democracy, liberation and campaigns is meeting the needs of our members. You’ll have the opportunity to drive forward our ambitions around community organising and activist support, building on Bristol SUs history of impactful campaigns. You'll be interested in and skilled at facilitating and enabling students to truly influence and shape their experience with us. What’s the job?
