Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with a commitment to delivering high-quality meals that exceed our guests' expectations. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications
* Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety standards and regulations
* Maintain a clean and organised kitchen workspace, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to plan and execute meal preparation efficiently
* Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary
* Assist in menu development by contributing innovative ideas for new dishes
* Train and mentor junior kitchen staff on cooking techniques and food safety practices
* Serve meals with attention to presentation and quality
Experience
* Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant setting
* Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen equipment
* Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices
* Previous experience in meal preparation for large groups is advantageous
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure
* A passion for culinary arts and a desire to continuously improve skills through ongoing learning

Pay: £12.21-£19.58 per hour
