Permanent Area Sales Manager - Food Industry required for Wimbledon. Job Purpose: To manage, develop and increase sales and profit contribution in existing and new customers within your geographical area. Ensuring all sales and margin targets and budgets are met in line with guidance from the RSM / MD. You may also be required to undertake other duties which are deemed to be within the business needs. Duties will include: To contact and liaise with suppliers to ensure product knowledge is maintained and reviewed. Internal departments to ensure the free flow of customer, market and product information. Establish and maintain accurate customer records, product profiles, promotional calendars, customer database and pricing files. Devise and constantly review clear journey plans and customer categorisation. Plan and execute sales opportunities within new market sectors and strategise sales penetration opportunities. Actively engage in the annual planning and budgeting process ensuring accurate and achievable customer plans are devised and executed. To act as an ambassador for company, seeking to promote the Companys services wherever and to whomever possible. Essential Criteria: Extensive sales experience ideally within FMCG Valid UK driving Licence Strong commercial acumen Strong analytical skills Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record.
