About the Opportunity:
We’re excited to present a fantastic opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join a long-term contract supporting a prestigious client based in Cumbria. What You’ll Be Doing:
As a Quantity Surveyor, you'll be instrumental in supporting the financial and commercial performance of the project. Your responsibilities will include:
Cost Management: Assist in the preparation and ongoing management of project cost estimates, budgets, and financial forecasts.
Commercial Administration: Support general commercial functions including documentation, applications for payment, and compensation event tracking.
Subcontractor Support: Help assess and process subcontractor applications and maintain strong working relationships.
Collaboration: Liaise effectively with colleagues across departments to ensure project delivery is well-coordinated and aligned.
Support Senior QS: Work closely with the Senior Quantity Surveyor to maintain project finances, time sheet entry, and reporting.
What You’ll Need:

Analytical Thinking: Strong numerical and analytical skills to support effective cost management.
Relevant Experience: Previous experience in a commercial landscape or commercial administration (preferred).
Qualifications: A degree in Quantity Surveying is desirable but not essential.
Benefits:
Highly competitive hourly rate – £45 to £55 per hour (depending on experience)
Long-term contract with 38 hours per week
