Job Summary
The Site Finance Manager is the key lead for all site-level financial matters, acting as a trusted business partner to the Site Leader and reporting to the Global Finance Director.
The role holds primary responsibility for the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of all financial data for the site, while leading a team of three direct reports.
This includes overseeing robust transactional processing, applying sound financial judgement, and ensuring strong governance and compliance. The role also owns the financial systems and processes that enable effective planning, control, and reporting of results for both management and statutory purposes.
The Site Finance Manager is accountable for the site’s full financial performance, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow.
Job Responsibilities
Business Partnering & Strategic Support
1. Act as a key finance business partner to site leadership and operations, providing actionable insights to drive performance and decision-making
2. Support the development and execution of site strategy, ensuring financial alignment with business objectives
3. Challenge and support stakeholders in understanding financial implications of operational decisions
Financial Performance & Control
4. Deliver clear, accurate, and timely reporting on site financial performance, including variance analysis and forward-looking insights
5. Ensure strong cost control, financial discipline, and transparency across all areas of the business
6. Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, reporting quality and automation
Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting
7. Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring robust assumptions and alignment with strategic priorities
8. Support the development of the 5-year financial plan, including scenario analysis and investment considerations
Governance, Compliance & Audit
9. Ensure adherence to corporate governance standards and internal controls
10. Act as the primary liaison with internal and external auditors, ensuring efficient audit processes and timely resolution of queries
Core Finance Operations
11. Oversee key accounting activities including month-end close, reporting, invoicing, and cost accounting
12. Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data and reporting outputs
13. Manage interaction with group functions such as Tax, Treasury, Internal Audit, Compliance, and other central finance teams
Job Qualifications
Key Qualifications & Experience
14. Strong finance background covering management accounting, financial planning, control, and business analysis, ideally gained in a global organization
15. Experience in FP&A, business partnering, costing, and profitability analysis
16. Demonstrated ability to translate financial data into clear business insights and recommendations
17. Strategic mindset with the ability to balance detail orientation and big-picture thinking
18. Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at senior levels
19. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or related field
20. Experience in a manufacturing or aerospace environment is advantageous
21. SAP / Onestream experience
