Role: SEMH Teaching Assistant (Full-Time)
Location: Nottinghamshire (NG31, near Grantham)
Pay: 90 - 103.90 per day
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm (term time only)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Long-term with potential to go permanent

This is an exciting opportunity to begin your career in education as a SEMH Teaching Assistant in a specialist school in Nottinghamshire (NG31, Grantham area). The school provides a therapeutic and supportive learning environment, helping pupils build confidence, resilience and positive coping strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting pupils aged 7-16 with SEMH needs in both classroom and alternative learning environments
* Using sport, movement and physical activity to encourage engagement and emotional regulation
* Delivering tailored support 1:1 and in small groups
* Helping students develop resilience, communication skills and confidence
* Collaborating with teachers, therapists and support staff to provide personalised learning plans
* Promoting a safe, structured and inclusive space where pupils feel supported and understood
We're Looking For:
* Experience working with young people (sports coaching, mentoring, youth work or similar)
* A calm, patient and encouraging personality
* Resilience and the ability to build strong, positive relationships
* No formal qualifications required - transferable skills and character are valued most
