Join our HPB and Transplant Nursing Team at London Bridge Hospital
Are you a passionate, experienced nurse looking to take the next step in your career within a highly specialised area? We are seeking a dynamic and committed Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) to join our Hepatobiliary (HPB) and Transplant team at London Bridge Hospital rated outstanding by the CQC.
In this vital role, you will provide expert support and specialist advice to patients and their families throughout their care journey. You’ll work closely with a team of leading consultants to ensure the delivery of exceptional care across both inpatient and outpatient settings. Your contribution will be central to the coordination and participation in multidisciplinary meetings, and you’ll play a key part in educating patients—helping them make informed decisions about their treatment options with confidence and clarity.
This position also involves working alongside transplant consultants to support patients through the liver and kidney transplant journey. From the early stages of donor and recipient preparation to post-transplant care, you’ll be a reliable point of contact and trusted guide throughout this life-changing experience. Your expertise will ensure that each patient receives personalised and compassionate care at every step.
As an HPB and Transplant CNS, you’ll work independently within a supportive, forward-thinking environment. You’ll be expected to stay up to date with the latest clinical developments, ensuring that your practice reflects the highest standards of professional and clinical credibility. Through ongoing professional development, networking with peers locally and internationally, and participation in education activities, you’ll continue to grow in your role and as a leader in specialist nursing.
We’re looking for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, while also being confident in making autonomous clinical decisions. You'll be accountable for your own practice, as well as the support and supervision of others, all while upholding the standards set by the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
At London Bridge Hospital, you’ll find yourself part of a vibrant, expert-led team within one of the UK’s most respected healthcare institutions. If you are ready to make a real difference in the lives of patients undergoing complex HPB and transplant care—and want to work in a place where your skills are valued and your growth is supported—then we’d love to hear from you.
