Job Overview:
We are seeking a Geography Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Geography, a creative approach to teaching, and a commitment to engaging and inspiring students.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Geography lessons to students in KS3/4
* Develop curriculum materials that foster a deep understanding of geographical concepts and global awareness.
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
* Participate in departmental meetings, professional development, and school events.
* Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience for students.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Bachelor's degree in Geography, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
* Teaching certification/licensure in Geography or related subject. (QTS/QTLS)
* Proven experience in teaching Geography
* Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create an engaging learning environment.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in using technology and digital tools for teaching and learning.
