Applications are invited for the post of a Consultant in Hematology. The post focuses on acute leukaemia and teenage/young adult (TYA) patients and is scheduled to commence on 13 October 2026. The successful applicant will provide haematology leadership to the TYA service.
The candidate will work with established sub‑speciality teams in leukaemia, stem cell transplantation and cellular therapies. Flexibility within the job plan will be provided depending upon experience and interests. The appointee will lead and develop care for TYA patients with haematological malignancies in CUH and across the region.
The applicant must have demonstrable skills in listening, reading, writing and speaking in English that enable effective communication about medical topics with patients and colleagues, in accordance with the GMC's Good Medical Practice (2013). Non‑UK applicants must possess the IELTS/OET exam before obtaining a GMC licence to practice.
