Key Responsibilities
* UI Development Leadership Lead the design and development of responsive accessible and high performing user interfaces for web and mobile applications
* Technical Expertise Define frontend architecture enforce coding standards and ensure best practices in UI development
* Collaboration Work closely with UX designers’ backend developers and product teams to deliver integrated solutions
* Performance Optimization Ensure UI components are optimized for speed scalability and security
* Mentorship Guide and mentor junior developers fostering a culture of technical excellence
* Quality Assurance Conduct code reviews unit testing and ensure compliance with Barclays security and accessibility standards
Required Skill
* Strong proficiency in JavaScript TypeScript HTML5 CSS3 and modern frameworks such as React JS Angular
* Experience in UI architecture design and component-based development
* Familiarity with RESTful APIs microservices integration and cloud platforms AWS Azure
* Knowledge of accessibility standards WCAG and responsive design principles
* Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in Banking Financial Services domain
* Exposure to Agile delivery environments
* Familiarity with CICD pipelines and DevOps practice sets
