Full time hours on a temporary basis
1. Key Responsibilities Administer and maintain accurate records for Council Tax, Business Rates, and Sundry Debt accounts, including applying exemptions, discounts, and reliefs. Process billing and authorise invoices raised by internal departments. Take secure card payments and investigate unallocated payments to ensure accurate account allocation. Keep up to date with relevant legislation and internal procedures. Assist in the prevention and detection of fraud, referring suspicious cases to the fraud team. Set up and manage Direct Debits, handle sensitive financial data securely, and reconcile banking reports. Liaise with external providers, including managing swipe card reports.
