Staff Nurse Ward 7 BGH – Band 5. Permanent, full-time role with internal rotation. Main area: Department of Medicine, LUH - 1 General Staffing (AFC posts). Site: Broadgreen Hospital, Liverpool. Salary: £31,049 - £37,796 per annum. Closing date: 13/10/2025 23:59.
Responsibilities
* Provide high quality, safety-driven nursing care as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
* Assist with admission of transferred patients and discharge planning.
* Work on a rotational shift basis, including days and nights.
* Contribute to assessment, planning, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care.
* Support patients and carers with information and education.
* Participate in re-enablement aims to help patients regain independence and return home.
Requirements
* Essential: Registered Nurse, current NMC registration; Diploma in Nursing.
* Post registration experience and successful completion of band 5 foundation gateway competencies.
* Experience within relevant clinical setting; ability to work in a changing environment; ability to organise workload and delegate tasks; good written and verbal communication; teamwork and mentorship/teaching potential are desirable.
Desirable
* Mentorship/teaching qualification; post-registration qualification in relevant specialty; recent acute hospital experience; IT skills (basic).
