We are looking for a Clinical Leader (Anaesthetics) for our hospital to help us build a healthier nation. You’re registered with the appropriate governing body and you have the relevant qualifications and post registration in surgery/anaesthetics experience, including as a Registered Nurse or HCPC Registered Operating Department Practitioner. With strong clinical leadership, you will guide your team a shared vision promoting innovation and sustainability. As a clinical leader, you will have good communication and organisational skills and the ability to work as part of a team, knowledge and understanding of running a smooth & effective department equipment is also essential.
As our Clinical Leader, you will:
* Conduct and organize the Clinical/ Surgical and Endoscopy team within theatre, which include the smooth running of the theatre lists and organizing booking forms and assisting sessions in theatres
* Work collaboratively and flexibly across the theatre suites to accommodate the service demands of each department, which include Endoscopy, General, Orthopedics, Gynae
* Promote effective clinical risk management and governance within the department, including saftey and risk management, quality improvement and ensure policies and procedure, to enhance patient care and service delivery.
* Have extensive knowledge required for dealing with audits and equipment.
* Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of surgical techniques and associated equipment
* Have ample opportunities for continuous growth and personal development, which can include Surgical First Assist training.

Located in Jesmond; you will be working at one of the north easts leading private hospitals, with a Good CQC rating, we have 27 en‑suite private bedrooms, 3 state‑of‑the‑art operating theatres, a dedicated breast care unit. We offer on‑site pathology services and diagnostic imaging including CT and MRI, to help patients after surgery we have on‑site physiotherapy specialists. We have a special focus in the areas of orthopaedics, spinal surgery, ophthalmology, weight loss surgery and cosmetic treatment.
