Paraplanner Team Leader
* Location: Bath - 2 days minimum in the office
* Job Type: Full-time
We are seeking a Paraplanner Team Leader to oversee a team of Paraplanners, ensuring the delivery of service excellence and operational efficiency. This role is crucial for maintaining high standards of client service and for driving continuous improvement within the team.
Day-to-Day of the Role:
* Lead and manage a team of Paraplanners, focusing on excellent client service delivery, achieving high performance and quality targets.
* Set and achieve objectives for the team that support the delivery of service excellence and operational efficiency.
* Review and appraise team and individual performance, set objectives, and identify training needs through regular one-on-one meetings and the company appraisal process.
* Adapt and flex leadership approach to motivate the team through periods of change while maintaining focus on client service goals and agreed SLAs.
* Use management information to review team and individual performance against targets.
* Support the Paraplanner Manager in ensuring an even distribution of workload within the team and manage leave to maintain required service levels.
* Collaborate with other Client Services teams and the Commercial team to streamline workflows and reduce turnaround times.
* Provide coaching and technical support on financial planning strategies, keeping abreast of product or platform changes and legislation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Level 4 Diploma Qualification in a relevant field.
* Proven experience in leadership and management within Financial Services.
* Strong understanding of financial planning strategies, regulatory requirements, and advice documentation.
* Experience with financial planning software, such as Intelliflo.
* Ability to travel to all office locations as required by team and project requirements.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage a diverse team.
