Reporting to the Management Accountant duties will include:
* Preparation of monthly management accounts to include ledger review, journal entry, reconciliation, and analysis.
* Processing weekly and monthly payroll using Sage 50 Payroll as well as annual P60 and P11D reporting.
* Daily bank administration including bank reconciliation, payment processing and cash flow forecasting.
* HMRC filings to include monthly VAT, EC Sales and Intrastat reporting.
* Statistical reporting to the Department of Finance and other key financial stakeholders.
* Preparation of financial reports for management.
* Engaging with external auditors to carry out the annual financial audit.
* Other ad hoc duties as and when required.
The successful Candidate will meet the following criteria:
* AAT/ ATI qualified or Part- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
* Experience using Sage 50 Payroll or similar payroll packages.
* Experience using Sage 200 or Sage 50
* Strong IT skills particularly Microsoft Excel
* Experience in a Manufacturing company is desirable.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure.
* Possess excellent attention to detail, problem solving and organisational skills.
