Key Duties
As an RVN at the hospital, you will have the opportunity to engage in a diverse range of responsibilities, including theatre work, nursing hospital patients, conducting consultations, assisting in labs, and general nursing duties. Each day will present new challenges and learning experiences, making your work exciting and fulfilling.
You will work a 40-hour week with varying shifts to accommodate your needs. Additionally, the rota includes a reasonable 1 in 7 weekend rotation (Saturday & Sunday, 8 am to 6 pm) with the support of fellow RVNs and Nursing Assistants.
You'll enjoy a Friday off before your weekend shift and two days off in the following week to recharge. Importantly, there are no out-of-hours duties as the practice has a dedicated night team to cover these responsibilities. Bank holidays are covered on a volunteer basis, ensuring fairness and flexibility for the team.
