Overview
We are looking for candidates who can contribute to AI-related data labeling tasks with a focus on German language data. The role involves handling various data types while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to guidelines and KPIs.
Responsibilities
* Maintain and follow strict confidentiality as customer privacy is our most important tenet
* Work with a range of data types including text, speech, audio, image, and video
* Deliver high-quality labelled data using provided guidelines and in-house tools as part of Amazon's AI initiatives
* Demonstrate proficiency in generating high-quality human insight data across modalities (text, image, video, audio)
* Make sound judgments and logical decisions when faced with ambiguous or incomplete information
* Maintain eye for detail and ability to pivot between requirement categories
* Support daily operational deliverables for multiple task types for you and the team
* Analyze root causes, identify error patterns, and propose solutions to improve labeling quality
* Identify day-to-day process and SOP/tool issues and suggest changes to unblock operations
* Provide floor support to clarify internal queries during execution as needed
A day in the life We are looking for a ML Data Associate to undertake foundational labeling functions such as dialogue evaluation on speech, text, audio, and video data. Strong concentration, multi-tasking, and high attention to detail help deliver high-quality work while maintaining confidentiality and following Amazon policies for securing data. You will be part of a diverse team focused on practical generative AI innovations.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
* An Associate’s Degree or related work experience
* CEFR C1 or equivalent fluency in German
* Written and spoken knowledge of English (CEFR B2) is essential
* Strong business writing skills for reports, proposals, and professional correspondence
* Advanced reading comprehension and ability to analyze complex business documents
* Analytical thinking and structured problem-solving capabilities
* Ability to interpret and implement detailed instructions across projects
* Proficient research skills for gathering and synthesizing information from multiple sources
* Attention to detail in managing complex tasks and documents
Preferred Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
* 2+ years of professional work experience with demonstrated task execution ability
* Ability to leverage open-source resources for research purposes
* Adaptability to fast-paced environments with changing circumstances
* 2-3 years of project coordination or management experience for support functions teams
* Experience managing stakeholder relationships across departments
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and common business applications
