Service Care Solutions have partnered with a leading accountancy practice that is looking for a talented and experienced accountant to join their growing team on a permanent basis. Please find a description of the role below.
Role: Senior Accountant
Location: Mansfield
Salary: 35,000 to 45,000 per year
Working: Hybrid (2–3 days from home)
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparation of statutory accounts for limited companies in accordance with applicable financial reporting standards
* Auditing small companies, including both individual entities and group structures
* Assisting senior accountants during audit fieldwork and assignments
* Preparation of draft corporate tax computations and supporting documentation
* Compiling management accounts and providing financial insights where necessary
* Effectively prioritising and managing workload to meet strict deadlines
* Working confidently with a range of accounting software packages, including Sage, Xero, and QuickBooks
* Performing ad hoc assignments and supporting the wider team as required
