Senior Logistics Coordinator
Location: Milton Keynes
Salary: £40,000 DOE
Contract: Initially 12 month FTC (Maternity Cover)
Our client is seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator to join their operations team on a maternity cover contract. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong freight, shipping, or supply chain experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced international environment.
The Role:
* Coordinate inbound shipments from suppliers to regional distribution hubs
* Manage carrier performance, shipment tracking, and issue resolution
* Support shipment planning in line with operational schedules
* Ensure all shipping documentation and compliance processes are completed accurately
* Work closely with suppliers and internal teams to manage timelines and resolve delays
* Monitor logistics performance and identify opportunities for process improvements
* Support reporting, workflow management, and operational planning activities
About You:
* Previous experience within logistics, freight, supply chain, or operations coordination
* Strong understanding of import/export processes and shipment management
* Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
* Strong Excel and systems skills
* Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
* High attention to detail and strong communication skills
* Italian language skills are advantageous but not essential
