PMO Project Planner

Your role
We are looking for a PMO Planner to work as part of PMO team to provide planning support for Programme / Project Managers in creating and maintaining meaningful Programme/Project plans in accordance with planning standards.
Planning support will encompass planning control, governance and monthly reporting. Planning support also encompasses the management of a planning cycle. Working with Project Managers and Work stream Leads, you will ensure plans are up to date in terms of progress and accurate timescales for completion of tasks. The role will also include the facilitation of planning training workshops where required.
The PMO Planner may be required to co-ordinate planning activities across more than one project in a program or portfolio, ensuring critical information is shared with agreed Stakeholders, and that internal and external dependencies are accurately reported and tracked to assist in program integration.

Your experience
1. Experienced in the planning of IT projects
2. Skilled in the use of MS project
3. Good working knowledge of other MS Office applications (word/Excel/ PowerPoint/SharePoint)
4. Experience of plan consolidation and analysis
5. Experience of progress tracking and reporting from project plans, including dependencies (gives / gets)
6. Experience of establishing/managing planning update cycles (weekly/monthly)
7. Preferably has experience of Project Web
